Greeting and Salutations,
I wanted to say I hope everyone is Enjoying their Easter, I myself have eaten way to much chocolate today and definitely feeling the affects of it. HAPPY EASTER!
This year so far for me has been a year of reflection and learning not only about myself but also about things happening around me.
One thing I've learned and I know some find it boring and don't care..but it probably affects all of us in one way or another and that is voting on who they want in leadership, for me I didn't vote for our current leaders in Australia and I don't know anyone who actually did vote for them but people obvious didn't look into things too carefully, we are meant to have a democratic government yet they have blacked out information on boat people coming into our waters, they have introduced a law that if you are in a group of three you can be charged under the new Vicious law establishment bill if they think your causing any trouble.. meant to be only for bikies but ordinary people are being charged under it and they just entered a law that no one can do anything about government pay rises each polictian would receive an extra $57,000 a year, with Premier Campbell Newman receiving an additional $118,000 by the way he gets paid as much as President Obama and he is only the Queensland state Premier. Australians pay sky high prizes for food we are in the top ten and are one of the highest taxed countries. We are not a lucky country at all...People now old enough to vote must look past the lies of politicians and the news broadcasters who only supply news that suits the current government, We all need to look to whats best for everyone.
Second thing I've learned.... bought the new Galaxy S5 because I thought it was time to get a new phone my last one was the S2 and I'm not a big on Apple, but that's just me, but I see my old Sim card doesn't fit and I have to call my mobile company to send out a micro Sim. Very annoying since customer service is only Monday to Fridays and I just wanted a straight forward swap over, just letting anyone know who is thinking of buying one.
Third....take a moment at this time for the Military serving away -suicide rates not only for Australian Military but also for Allied military members who serve have reached sky high levels, even if you don't believe that they should be fighting or what they are fighting for ..just remember like all of us they only doing their jobs.
....and for the rest of the month of April try doing something a little different..... Save an animal, give to a charity, go through your old clothes and just give them away to someone who might need it. Show kindness and Compassion. Changing the way the world thinks starts with you.
